Hacksaw Frame
• This high-tension frame has an easy-to-use adjusting lever requiring
minimal turns to tension the blade up to 28,000 p.s.i. (2,000 kgs/cm2).
High-tension prevents twisting and binding of the blade when bearing down.
• Rugged, yet lightweight frame is made of cast aluminum with an extra-thick
tubular steel bar for added strength. Furnished with a Starrett Bi-Metal Unique™
Bluestripe blade (Additional replacement blades listed below).

Hacksaw Blades
Starrett Bi-Metal Unique™ technology joins two strips of high speed steel wires to
a backing steel in a split phase, using the principle of solid state diffusion bonding.
This results in significantly reduced fracture and breakage at the HSS/backing
material interface.
The exceptionally strong teeth develop a groove after initial use. This produces dual
chips that are more easily removed from the cut. The result is faster cuts and longer
blade life.
