We offer the 3M™ Roloc™ shank allows 3M™ Roloc™ disc pads to fit a collet on a die grinder or disc sander or a drill chuck on a drill. The 1/4 in (6 mm) external threads fit Roloc™ disc pads with 1/4-20 internal threads. In two diameter - 1/4 in or 6 mm - our 3M™ Roloc™ shank enables you to secure a Roloc™ backup pad to a die grinder or disc sander, adding versatility to tools you may already own. The short, 2 in (51 mm) shaft of the 3M™ Roloc™ shank keeps the abrasive closer to the tool, resulting in less vibration and more precise operator control. Our Roloc™ quick-change discs are smaller discs that have a plastic threaded button or screw designed to attach to a Roloc™ disc pad. Operators can conveniently change discs with a simple twist-off, twist-on motion. The Roloc™ system provides a secure attachment even for heavy duty applications and the variety of available 3M™ Roloc™ discs allows swapping from one application to the next in seconds.
