This fastener is covered with flexible J-shaped hooks, about 300 hooks per sq-in, which protrude up from a woven backing. Commonly paired with 3M™ loop fastener SJ3531, this hook fastener can also engage with other 3M™ loop fasteners. To ensure stability and flatness, both the hook and the corresponding loop are preshrunk. The backing of 3M™ hook fastener SJ3530 is coated with a high tack rubber based pressure sensitive adhesive. This tacky adhesive bonds quickly to your substrate when pressure is applied. It features quick stick, short dwell time and very good shear strength.
