TS18HS drills have an adapted hexagonal threaded shank to NAS 965 type B, with a short length for drilling in confined areas. The drills are available in a selection of wire gauge sizes from 50 to 1 and have a 135 deg split point which helps with self-centering when drilling by hand and reduces the push force needed. TS18HS drills are manufactured from High Speed Steel, have a 1/4-28 thread and can be used for drilling many different materials including steel, stainless steel and aluminum and have a steam oxide finish which ensures clean and accurate holes by preventing workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the drill.
