TS52 long drills are available in wire gauge sizes from 50 to 1 and are manufactured from High Speed Steel, enabling you to drill many different materials including aluminum, steel and stainless steel. They have a hexagonal threaded shank, with 1/4-28 thread, which is designed for use in right angle drilling heads and a long length for drilling in confined areas. TS52HS drills come with a 135 deg split point to reduce the push force needed and help with self-centering and a steam oxide finish to stop workpiece material from sticking to the cutting edges of the drill for clean and accurate holes.
