Coated with a premium aluminum oxide abrasive grain, Merit® Surface Prep™ AO fine grit non-woven narrow backstand belts cut up to 20% faster than other surface conditioning belts and make a great choice for fine grit, final surface blending on a variety of metals and shapes. Backed with super low stretch, Y-weight polyester that's secured with a durable, nylon fiber bond, these belts are perfect when you want to minimize stretching while maximizing durability. Open coated and engineered with proprietary clean Bond™ resin technology, these belts deliver minimal loading when working aluminum and other soft metals and ensure smear free finishes on high nickel content alloys.
