Designed for medium grit blending, finishing and deburring projects, the Merit® Surface Prep™ AO medium grit non-woven portable belt cuts up to 20% faster than competing surface conditioning belts due to the premium aluminum oxide abrasive grain coating. A low stretch Y-weight polyester backing is attached to nylon fiber to provide strength and long product life. The open coat and clean bond resin technology help produce smooth, clean finishes on nickel alloys and soft metals while reducing loading on aluminum and other soft metals.
