Made from low carbon steel material. Zinc plated finish. Type 2 is used for gears, keyways, pulleys and shafts. Precision Brand® step keystock is used in the transmission of power from a shaft to a gear, sprocket, sheave, pulley, coupling, etc. Often referred to as "offset keystock".
